Manage to get the boat in the Water at Herne bay .

Sorry it has been awhile since i have updated my blog.

Took the Boat out for the Seconded time and manage to get video of it in the water at herne Bay Kent Uk .

The sea was very choppy so didn't get to take the boat to any great speed but did manage to get up to 22 Knots but have to reduces the speed because the boat just kept leaping out the water .

Considering the water was very Choppy the Boat handle very well and as for the Mercury 1000SS Outboard well the Engine run brilliantly and with out fault .

As you can see the rather Choppy  out there .
A little wave to the Camera as we are going by .

Not even got the Engine at Half throttle and the boat leaping out the water .

Coming bat in through the Harbor only aloud  8 Knots in there ..

Me boy Wez just about to got onto the front Deck so he could tire us to the jetty .
One last ride out but this time with my youngest on board .

And here's the the Video of it , sorry for some of the footage but the Wife did it , hehe  ..

Hope you enjoyed the Video , i have still many this to do on the boat to finish it but as i do the i shall take more photo's and video coverage as i can..

  1. Hi Paul,

    Thanks for the nice videos,

How does this boat compare to US made boats, say Sea Ray or British boats such as Fairlne of similar size? I'm referring to driving experiencenin terms how soft or hard is the hull in choppy waters.. seen from the pictures the bottom seems to be fairly flat which indicates not such a soft driving experience as with one can have when driving a deep-v hull..can you name any other boat of similar size that you have driven to compare with Herwa 18?

    thanks Artto
